Writing
As a mental health creative, and using my lived experience, I’ve written books, featured on live TV, won awards, been mentioned as an entrepreneur to watch in the Houses of Parliament and featured in the Evening Standard. Most recently, I’ve been CEO of the Design in Mental Health Network.
My films, telling the story of mental health since I started work as a service user activist in the 90’s, are housed in the British Library.
I’ve lectured on mental health to MSc level as a university associate. I’m currently training as a WELL Buildings Associate to further my technical expertise in the built environment.
My newsletter #mentalhealthartists goes out on Substack weekly.
